The Peninsula Shopping Center will be having their Easter Bunny Visits for Palos Verdes homes owners beginning on Saturday, March 29, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This will be a great opportunity for children to get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny and also enjoy special activities that have been planned for them. This year the Easter Bunny will be at Peninsula Center from March 29 through April 19th – on Fridays & Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sundays noon to 5:00 p.m., and Mondays through Thursdays noon to 7:00 p.m. For more information call (310) 541-2242. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Ruby’s Restaurant located in the Promenade on the Peninsula from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. This is a great time to let the children visit with the bunny (so bring your camera) while the entire family gets to enjoy a breakfast out. Adults are $15 and kids eat free for this fun event. For reservations call (310) 544-7829.

Once again the City of Rancho Palos Verdes will be sponsoring the Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza at the Ladera Linda Community Center. At this popular event, children from 1-8 years can join Mr. Rabbit and find Easter eggs to fill their basket. This event will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The fee is $15 per child and there will be a limited number of participants. It is recommended that you get your registration form ahead of time at http://palosverdes.com/rpv/recreationparks/easter-egg-hunt.pdf and be sure to call (310) 377-0360 and get your name on the list. Remember to bring your Easter basket, and of course your camera because I’m sure there will be lots of photo ops that you won’t want to miss.
