The Neighborhood Church Presents Yule Tea By The Sea
For the past 58 years, the Neighborhood Church has opened its doors to celebrate the Christmas Season. On Friday and Saturday, December 5 & 6, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., you can enjoy a Christmas Tea where you will be able to sit and listen to music, while enjoying your tea, sandwiches and cookies. The patio is prepared for outdoor seating if weather permits and you can visit the holiday boutiques which are steps away. The boutiques offer one of a kind items that have been created by church members and there is even a Bake Shop with homemade goodies. The Vintage Shop which opened several years ago, has treasures from furniture to glass items that have been donated from local attics and there are always some fabulous “finds.”
The Haggarty Mansion which was built as a private villa in 1927 and was one of the first buildings here on the Peninsula is now home the Neighborhood Church. There will be tours led by docents and the Church Historian will be there to answer your questions and share some church stories.
Ticket prices are $20 if purchased by December 4th, and $25 thereafter. To purchase tickets go to http://yuleparlorparade.org or order by phone at (310) 378-9353. Yule Parlor Parade is the last event for the 75th year celebration of the City of Palos Verdes Estates.
