Palos Verdes Cherry Blossom Festival-South Coast Botanic Garden
The Cherry Blossoms are blooming and Palos Verdes homes owners are in for a special treat as the South Coast Botanic Garden celebrates with a day long festival. This is the closest location for us to see the beauty and color of these trees. This yearly event reminds us that Spring is just around the corner. On Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. bring a picnic and enjoy Cherry Blossom time at the Garden. There will be special areas set up for kids to enjoy fun activities beginning at 11:00. Cherry Blossoms are said to be an omen of good fortune and also an emblem of love and affection. So why not enjoy nature and celebrate these gorgeous blooms. The Sakura Meadows, Amphitheater Lawn and upper and lower meadows will be open for picnicking on this special day. Also, the tram tours will be running on this special day at 11, 12, 1 & 2 and the cost is $4 per person.
