Palos Verdes AYSO Region 10 Has Program for 3-4 Year Olds
Palos Verdes homes owners have been asking for a soccer program designed for children 3-4 years of age and AYSO Region 10 recently announced the Playtime Adventure Program. At this young age the focus will be on improving a child’s Fundamental Motor Skills (FMS) in a fun, parent participatory atmosphere utilizing age appropriate activities and storybook adventures.
Each one hour class helps to complete the child’s utilization and development of specific motor skills. At the end of the class, the child will receive a sticker to go in their storybook. Children and parents receive a Playtime Adventure Storybook which follows the curriculum of the various weekly themes. At the final class of the program the children will relive and reinforce their favorite adventures/activities and have a party.
There are 4 weekly sessions available – either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Highridge Park. The cost is $99 per session and runs from March 16 – May 14, 2015.
