South Coast Botanic Garden Offers A Free Day!
South Coast Botanic Garden is offering a special gift for Palos Verdes homes owners to enjoy by opening their doors on the third Tuesday of every month with free admission. Summer is a wonderful time to enjoy the blooming trees, shrubs and flowers as they transition from their spring blooms into early summer with plenty of color. The Garden, which covers 87 acres, has an abundance of beautiful landscaping ideas which not only cover the blooming plants with their glowing colors, but also the drought resistant types which are popping up everywhere on the peninsula because to the water shortage.
Whether you are looking for a relaxing walk, want to get out and exercise, or just trying to find some fresh landscaping ideas to try at home, this is the place. The next free day at the Garden is on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
