Palos Verdes Peninsula 4-H Club Sign Up
Palos Verdes homes owners who have children that are interested in learning about citizenship, leadership and other life skills have a great opportunity to join our local 4-H Club. The first meeting for the year will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., at City Hall in Rolling Hills Estates. Youth between the ages of 7 – 19, will have hands-on learning experiences with different projects including pets and small animals, horses, dog care, beekeeping, poultry, sewing, marine biology, wildlife, surfing, photography, archery, computers and more. This is a great participation program where parents can also volunteer to help our young leaders of tomorrow.
The program starts on the community level, then helps to introduce the members to the county, state and national levels of their leadership. The program goes from September 16, 2015, through June 30, 2016, and the Club fees are $120.00/per year. The Club will meet every third Wednesday of the month.
