Autumn Impressions Workshop 2015 At Terranea Resort
The Autumn Impressions workshop presented by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy and Art to Grow On, Inc, will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Terranea Resort. This is a great opportunity for Palos Verdes homes owners to grab the family for an outing which begins with a coastal hike down the discovery trail with activities such as looking for different small creatures that inhabit our peninsula, and observing patterns of color and different textures that are seen in nature. While walking you will be discussing the animals that are found here in the wild, and look for inspiration to make the “Creepy Cool Creatures” autumn project. Then, the young artists will take their new skills and transfer all their new impressions into their own masterpieces. This is a great event for children over 3 to enjoy. There is limited space, reservations are required and you are encouraged to register early. The price is only $25 per family.
Meet at the pelican statue next to the Pelican Cove parking lot between the Point Vicente Lighthouse and Terranea Resort. Pelican Cove is located at 31300 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes.
The Impressions Workshops fill up quickly. To RSVP, contact Jill Wittman at info@pvplc.org or call (310) 541-7613 as soon as possible. Terranea Resort is located at 6610 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes.
