Palos Verdes Library District’s Free Movies!
The Palos Verdes Library District has a great list of free movies that they will be showing in the month of October. Each month they offer a different selection of foreign movies, the latest releases and classic cinema. Most of the screenings will have some post film discussion which adds an opportunity to socialize with others in the community. In October the following movies will be presented. Classic Movies at Noon will be showing Night Of The Hunter on Monday, October 5, 2015, from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. The Classic Movies at Noon series takes place on the first Monday of every month and features Hollywood films from the 1930s through the 1970s. On Thursday, October 8, 2015, at 5:30 p.m., Cine-Monde film series (a film series featuring notable film from around the globe) will be screening Where Do We Go Now? The Multiplex film series (featuring notable, popular and recent American releases from Hollywood) will occur on the fourth Thursday of the month October 22, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. These events are free and open to the public. Following the film there may be a brief discussion facilitated by the coordinator of the series.
