New Bakery For Thanksgiving Pies
Did you know there is a new “scratch” bakery in the Palos Verdes/South Bay area? As the former President of Carlson’s Cookies, I appreciate bakeries that use only fresh natural ingredients and no mixes. I am happy to have found Hermosa Pie & Cake Company just in time for Thanksgiving!
Last week, I tried their Blueberry Pie which had mounds of fresh blueberries – more than any pie I have ever eaten. Their individual Fuji Apple Tart was more like a shortbread cookie with caramelized apple on top and was also delicious.
