Palos Verdes Free Lacrosse Class!
Peninsula Education Foundation announces a free Lacrosse Training Camp for girls and boys who would like to learn more about Lacrosse. Palos Verdes homes owners can bring their children who are attending third to sixth grade. There will be separate camps for boys and girls to learn more about the game on Monday, February 15, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Palos Verdes High School turf field.
Camp Alex wants students, beginners or experienced, to attend. You are required to bring only cleats, mouth guards and athletic supports for boys. The Lacrosse equipment will be provided without fees during this day camp. It is a great opportunity to allow your child to try the sport without having to purchase all the equipment (and possibly then decide it isn’t for them). Lacrosse is said to be one of the fastest games on two feet.
If you are interested in having your children join in, send an email to jtr444@aol.com. Space will be limited so register early. It is suggested that shorts are worn and you must bring your own water. Camp Alex is fully sponsored by the Alex Richardson Memorial Fund.
