Palos Verdes 2016 Children’s Summer Fun Expo!
Spring has arrived, and Palos Verdes homes owners are already thinking about fun activities for their children during the summer months. Although some may think it is too early, before you know it children are out of school and looking for things to do. On Saturday, April 9, 2016, the 19th annual What’s Up For Kids Expo will be having their annual Kids, Camps and Connections to give parents the opportunity to sign up for activities for their children to enjoy. It will be held again this year at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will have over 75 different exhibitors and resources for children of all ages. Each year the science and educational activities seem to increase and there is an ever changing list of camps for children to choose from sports, beach fun, surf & sailing, art, riding, dance, music, language and more.
This year, the entertainment will include a performance by Le Petit Cirque at 12:30 p.m., hands on activities and craft area, fantastic giveaways and door prizes and more. Pizza from Fresh Brothers will be available for purchase on the plaza. This is a great opportunity to learn about full day summer programs for the working parent, where children can enjoy days of fun at various school locations on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
