Palos Verdes Valentine’s Day 2017 Celebrations!

Palos Verdes homes owners can celebrate a special Valentine’s Day locally.  On Saturday, February 11, 2017, the South Coast Botanic Gardens will be presenting their romantic Valentine’s Day Sweetheart’s Stroll In The Garden.  Start by enjoying a Stroll in the Garden from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Beginning at 12:00 noon, you will be able to purchase wine and beer from Red Car Brewery and Plough/Wooden Valley Wines.  You will be entertained during the afternoon by DJ VOX and VIP Entertainment.  Richeeze Grilled Cheese Truck will be there from noon to 4:00 p.m. selling their melted heaven on earth sandwiches.  The Foil Place will be there to provide a complimentary, personalized engraving with the purchase of a wine glass.  Garden admission applies, and you can purchase the a la carte items listed above separately, or for $19/per person you can enjoy 5 tasting tickets, 1 photo booth ticket and one wine glass.  There is even a VIP experience which for $25/per person you can enjoy appetizers and signature beer cocktail, 1 wine glass engraved, 5 wine/beer tastings, 1 souvenir photo w/free frame and Interactive Gardening Demo by Sunflower Farms.  VIP tickets are recommended (but they do sell out quickly) – pre-register for your tickets at http://southcoastbotanicgarden.org/event/sweethearts-stroll-in-the-garden.

On Saturday, February 11, 2017, the Friends of Banning Museum will hold their twelveth annual Valentine’s Tea & Tunes from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  This event at the Banning Museum will take place inside the museums historic Stagecoach Barn.  In this vintage setting, you will enjoy an elegant light luncheon served on fine china with special selections of teas chosen just for the occasion.  There will be entertainment provided as well as tours of the Museum.  There will also be a special exhibit featuring popular vintage fashions and accessories from 1864 to the 1920’s.  This is a great opportunity for you to put on your finest hats and gloves and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.  Tickets do sell out quickly for this Tea, so you should purchase your tickets soon.  The cost is $65 for Friends of Banning Museum members and $75 for non members.  For more information or to make reservations, please call 310-548-2005.
