Palos Verdes Art Center 2017 Homes Tour

The Palos Verdes Art Center will be presenting its 31st Anniversary Homes Tour, Delectable Living: Delightful and Delicious, on Friday April 28, and Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Tour will feature two garden parties filled with music and edible treats. This magical discovery day will feature terraces with Rennaisance styled gardens with docents sharing informative details. These unique gardens will allow you to dream while strolling along in tranquil private landscapes which have the beauty of public botanical gardens. These two Rolling Hills Garden Estates are called Enchanted Terraces amd Rural Meets Renaissance.

Enchanted Terraces (above) is the result of nearly 50 years of hard work on a barren Rolling Hills hillside, where it was turned into lush terraced gardens with a simple cottage home filled with antique French and contemporary Mexican furnishing where tranquilly co-exists.

Rural Meets Renaissance (above) consists of a formal kitchen garden, styled after a 16th century French Renaissance estate, and has 270 degree views setting the stage for this 10 acre Rolling Hills rural oasis. This 80 year old early California residence hosts guests in rustic country style.

The tour starts at the Palos Verdes Art Center where you will pick up your map and self-drive to two diverse homes and the garden stop. There will be a shuttle from the Art Center to the bonus loft-style town home. Complimentary valet parking is available at the Art Center where you will also enjoy a STRIPES gourmet lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., shop collectibles, designer boutiques, original local art and a raffle.

Tour ticket prices for this fun event are $70/advance ticket purchase, $75 for tickets purchased on the day of the event and Palos Verdes Art Center member ticket price is $65.
