Palos Verdes Promenade Ice Chalet
Palos Verdes Promenade Ice Chalet is a great place to visit, especially on a hot day and is one of the best skating locations here in the South Bay. They offer a fun family environment that would appeal to all members of the family. If you have a young new skater who is trying to become familiar with the ice, they have their new “Bobby” a seal skating aid which you can rent for $8 to help guide your child around the ice. They offer daily public skating and lessons of all types such as figure skating, hockey, broom ball, and camps throughout the year.
For those who need a little help in learning how to handle the ice, they now offer free introduction classes on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with admission and skate rental fees. On your birthday you can also come in and enjoy a free skate day with appropriate identification. The first Thursday of the month they offer free parent skate with child’s paid admission. If your looking for a fun Saturday night adventure, they offer group open skating from 6:10 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with admission and skates for four, for only $40. What a fun way to spend an evening!
Prices for Promenade Ice Chalet are: general admission is $9.00 and senior 55+ is $8.00, plus skate rental of $4.00.
Palos Verdes Promenade Ice Chalet party pak has been popular during these last few hot weeks of summer. This wonderful package can be made specific for boys or girls (or both). The package offer different selections such as ice skating, broom ball, or hockey. Since Kid Concepts recently closed due to a fire, parents have been looking new party locations.
