Palos Verdes Enjoys 2018 Mother’s Day Concert
Palos Verdes homes owners have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Mom at the South Coast Botanic Garden where the 60-person Palos Verdes Symphonic Band, will be featuring a special Mothers Day concert entitled “Magnificent Melodies.” The program will feature the best in concert band music with works by Eric Whatacre, Frank Ticheli, Leonard Bernstein and Arturo Marquez. This special concert will take place at the South Coast Botanic Garden on Sunday, May 13, 2018, and is a great way to treat mom to a fabulous outing and also enjoy the beautiful grounds. You can bring a picnic and enjoy the upper gardens. The Garden is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Garden admission ticket prices are $9 adults/$6 seniors/$6 students/$4 children 5-12, and under 4 are free.
The concert will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Frances Young Hall and tickets are $9 for adults/$6 for students & seniors/$4 for kids 5-12 and children under 5 are free.
Proceeds from ticket sales support the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band and South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation.
