Palos Verdes Neighborhood Church 2018 Summer Concerts
Palos Verdes Neighborhood Church Summer Sunday Sounds will begin their 2018 season on Sunday, June 24, 2018, with additional concerts on July 25 and August 19, 2018. This is a great time for Palos Verdes homes owners to sit on the seaside terrace of this beautiful church, enjoy the ocean view and bring a picnic at 6:00 p.m. The concerts actually begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall and are presented free of charge.
On June 24, 2018, Kent Jenkins, AKA “Snubby J,” will be entertaining the crowd. Kent is a Los Angeles musician, creator and entertainer known for his performances with the RimbaTubes, a homemade PVC Pipe instrument that was built by his father and can put out incredible sounds.
On July 25, 2018, Sarah Fantappie & Sam Sorensen will be performing. Sarah is a recent graduate of Chapman University where she toured with the University Singer’s Choir. Sarah has also sung for many special presentations at the Neighborhood Church. Her repertoire consists of classical, romantic & baroque songs sung in English & Italian.
On August 19, 2018, Eric Rigler & Dirk Freymuth will be the entertainment for the evening. Considered to be the “World’s Most Recorded Piper,” Eric Rigler and multi talented guitarist Dirk Freymuth return with their favorite Celtic Spirit and energy. Best known for their Braveheart, Titantic & Austin Powers show songs, they have played with a number of artists such as Phil Collins, Josh Groben, and Faith Hill.
