Palos Verdes Live Shakespeare By The Sea 2018 Performances

shakespearre by the sea 2014

We have another wonderful opportunity for Palos Verdes homes owners to relax and enjoy live outdoor entertainment here on our beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula.  This is the 21st year of Shakespeare By The Sea performances, and this year they will be presenting “The Merry Wives of Windsor” and “The Winter’s Tale.”  The Merry Wives of Windsor is the story full of mischief & mayhem galore, and The Winters Tale tells the familial story of love and forgiveness.

Point Fermin Park will be presenting both of the shows during the summer.  “The Merry Wives of Windsor ” will be presented on June 14, 15, 16, 28, 30, July 6, and August 18, 2018, at 8:00 p.m. “The Winter’s Tale ” will be presented on June 21, 22, 23, 29, July 5 & 7 and August 17, 2018, at 8:00 p.m. The park can be very chilly since it is right on the ocean.  Bench seating is available, or you can set up chairs or blankets on the side.  Point Fermin Park is located at 807 Paseo del Mar, San Pedro.

The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will be presenting “The Merry Wives of Windsor” on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Hesse Park Upper Field.  The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. and admission is free.  Come early and enjoy your picnic dinner outside while you enjoy the ocean views.  You are encouraged to bring blankets or low slung beach chairs.  Hesse Park is located at 29301 Hawthorne Boulevard, Rancho Palos Verdes.  There is plenty of free parking available at this site.

Terranea Resort will be featuring “The Merry Wives of Windsor” on Sunday, July 29, 2018, beginning at 7:00 p.m.  For this show, you are now allowed to bring in food; you can also purchase food at Terranea.  There is a $10 parking fee.  Remember you are on the coast, so you may want to wear layers of clothing.  You will be sitting in the grassy amphitheater area and blankets or low back beach chairs are recommended.  Terranea Resort is located at 100 Terranea Way, Rancho Palos Verdes.
