Palos Verdes Garden Concerts Welcome Encore Saxophone Quartet!
On Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., St Luke’s Presbyterian Church will be presenting their last concert of the summer “Encore Saxophone Quartet.” This is a fabulous event where you can come early and enjoy our gorgeous weather while picnicking on the lawn, and then enjoy a Free Garden Concert.
The Quartet was founded in 1984, and its extensive repertoire spans original compositions and arrangement that bridge styles from Classical to Modern Jazz. They were winners in the 2016 Beverly Hills National Auditions competition. The Quartet’s unique blending of innovative and diverse programming, along with informational narrative, transports listeners on a musical journey that exhibits the many possibilities encompassing the sound spectrum of the saxophone in a quartet setting.
Come out and listen to this great musical quartet, have a picnic, and later enjoy dessert and coffee hosted by St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church.
