Palos Verdes Art Center 2018 Winter Registration Open!
The Palos Verdes Art Center Winter registration has begun for classes which will start the week of January 14, 2019 and run through March 18, 2019. This class start date is for both children.
The children’s classes available this session under the Youth Studio are: Exploring Art, Imagination & Creation, Ceramics – Hand Build, Youth Drawing, Watercolor & Pastel, Botanical Art, Drawing & Painting, Youth Wheel, Painting Patterns and Painting Immersion.
This Winter, there are over 35 adult classes being offered. Some of the adult classes available this winter are categorized as Sculptural Hand – Building – Open Studio – Surface Design – Intro To the Wheel – Intro To Glass – Drawing – Wheel Throwing – Portraiture – Figure Painting – Mid Level Glass – Wheel Throwing – Mid Level Ceramics – Watercolor – Drawing Principles – Fauvism – Digital Imaging – Upper Level Ceramics – Intro To Glass Casting – Intro To Watercolor – Printmaking – Mixed Media – Art Journaling – Glass Imagery & Pattern Making – Acrylic Painting – Intro to Ceramics – Intro To Drawing – Plein Air & Independent Painting. The instruction is not always based on a set formula. Some of the smaller classes are taught by artists and educators that base instruction on individual needs. These adult classes are ten weeks long, and class prices vary depending on the size of the class and the materials needed.
