Palos Verdes 23rd Annual Parade of Lights Drive-Through Parade!
Palos Verdes homes owners are looking for Holiday Traditions to enjoy as they have in the past. This year, there are no large outdoor tree lightings, no grand Nutcracker Ballets, and Santa isn’t sitting at shopping centerd for children to whisper their toy wishes too. However, we are lucky that the City of Rolling Hills Estates and the California Water Service have put together a new event at Ernie Howlett Park.
On Saturday, December 5, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. you are invited to the reimagined 23rd Annual Parade of Lights Drive-Through. The popular annual Palos Verdes Peninsula Parade of Lights traditionally has floats, bands and community organizations that stroll the streets making the way for the arrival of Santa. This year, you will drive through a brightly lit Ernie Howlett Park parking loop to enjoy beautiful holiday vignettes, community partners, and Santa. You will have the opportunity to wave hello to the Rolling Hills Estates City Council and representatives from neighboring agencies, plus best of all – Santa. Children can prepare their letter for Santa and drop it off to him at the end of the drive-through. The first 500 vehicles will receive a goodie bag full of treats. They are hoping each car will donate one unwrapped, unopened toy per vehicle for various charities.
Ernie Howlett Park is located at 25851 Hawthorne Blvd, Rolling Hills Estates.
A free ticket per vehicle is required for entry. Visit www.RHE.city/Parade to register for your ticket.
