Palos Verdes Library District Announces All Locations Open!

The Palos Verdes Library District announced they have reopened interior services at all PVLD locations. There will be an ongoing assessment of hours, programs and services to decide when they can go back to former schedules. This will depend on the loosening restrictions of the LA County Health Department. Of course, you will need to follow the library’s Covid 19 instructions.

Below are just a few of the services and activities that will be affected.

Curbside Service is ending on Thursday, April 29, 2021. However, if you have an accessibility issue due to COVID, you can call to arrange for a pickup at (310) 377-9584, and select option 2.

Holds – All library locations are now open for browsing and interior hold pick up again. So you can enjoy strolling through the aisles and check out at the service desk or use the self-check machines.

Returned Items – In accordance with LA County Guidelines, quarantine of returned items is phased out as of April 26, 2021.

Open Hours – Peninsula Center Library will be open Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Malaga Cove Library and Miraleste Library will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

For more information, call the Palos Verdes Library District at  (310) 377-9584.
