Palos Verdes Little League 2021 Registration Is Open!

Palos Verdes home owners can now sign up their children to play in the local Little League Spring 2022 season as registration is open. Palos Verdes Little League is committed to its player safety and has improved the fields with higher fencing, safety nets, and fixed potentially dangerous lips at main game fields.  Important news for the league came out in 2018, that Little League Baseball® requires that all bats adhere to the new USA Baseball Standard.  No bats previously approved for use in Little League Play will be permitted to be used in any Little League game or practice, or other Little League function, event, or activity.

Palos Verdes Little League is committed to the health and safety of players. In 2018, PVLL instituted a new arm health program designed to bring attention to the pitfalls of overuse injuries as well as offering a program to help strengthen the arm as players develop.  To support this program, PVLL has partnered with the varsity coach at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School to develop instructional videos that provide an optional strength and flexibility program.  As with any new exercise program, you should consult your doctor if you have any concerns.  On the playing field during practices and before games, these programs will be available to the players.

Palos Verdes Peninsula is divided into 4 separate Little League divisions. The boundaries are determined by your property address.  However, if you live outside of a league’s boundary, but attend school within their boundary, you are allowed to register with that league.  Registration for the 2021 Spring season opened on November 1, 2021, and will remain open until December 31, 2021.

To register, enter your login ID and password. After entering your child’s birth date, a league age will be calculated and the division that he or she is eligible to play in will open for registration.  It will automatically assign you to a division based on your child’s age, but you have the option to have them play in a lower division. Registration cost is as follows: Major, Intermediate & Minor are $395, and Farm & T-Ball are $295.

Divisions available by league age are:  Tee Ball for ages 4–6, Farm division ages 6-7, Minor division ages 8–9, Intermediate division ages 10–11, and Major division ages 11-12.   If you are requesting to play up a division, that will be determined by the draft (therefore by the managers in the division).
