Peninsula Seniors Enjoy Bohannon Lecture Series February 2023

 

Palos Verdes residents have a wonderful opportunity to hear interesting topics at the February 2023 Peninsula Seniors Bohannon Lectures Series.  These Lectures take place at Scriba Family center located at 602 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates, with in-person lectures starting at 10:30 a.m.

February 8, 2023 – “Declutter, Transform, Renew.” Louisa Gravelle of New Leaf Organizing will give you tips on organizing a better, happy decluttered life for you and your family. Whether it has to do with paper flow, home office, clothing or closets she can help you start your year off by decluttering.

February 15, 2023 – “Stories of the Los Angeles Harbor.” The President of the San Pedro Historical Society Mona Dallas Reddick, will be discussing the formation of the Historical Society in 1974, when a group of residents wanted to preserve the harbors rich history and the ways it helped to influence the development of Los Angeles.

February 22, 2023 – “Sports Drinks and Cholera.” Dr. Peter Barrett who is a 60+ year gastroenterology specialist, will talk about his interesting life lessons from playing a tuba in college and then becoming a doctor. He is also the former president of the Chamber Orchestra of the South Bay.
