Palos Verdes residents, who are parents of eighth grade students, you have received high school information through their Aeries Parent Portal regarding the designation of their child’s high school choice for September 2024. Palos Verdes High School and Palos Verdes Peninsula High School are having principal forums and will be having tours of the schools for the incoming students. Any current eighth grade student will have an opportunity to enroll under “open enrollment” which means that the students who will enter 9th grade in September 2024, may choose which Palos Verdes high school to attend. Planning for the 2024-2025 school year is beginning and enrollment numbers are critical to effectively prepare for this next school year.
Palos Verdes Peninsula High School will be holding their principal forums on January 16, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., and January 25, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., in the College Career Center. The Special Education parent zoom forum will take place on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and you will be able to register through your Aeries Parent Portal. They will be holding their Open House on February 8, 2024. Time will be announced. This will be an on campus evening where you will hear from students and faculty about what the school has to offer. Palos Verdes High School will be holding their principal forums on January 18, and February 12, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on campus. Palos Verdes High School will offer their Special Education parent forum on campus February 12, 2024, from 5:30 p.n. to 6:15 p.m. They will be holding their Open House on January 31, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on campus.
