Palos Verdes homes owners can compete in the 46th Annual Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10K/5K outdoor run this year. Start your Super Bowl Sunday on a healthy, fun and festive note and finish in plenty of time to enjoy America’s Classic Super Bowl! Kaiser Permanente will once again be presenting the Big Game Challenge package which includes both the 10k & 5k runs.
You can join more than 6,000 race enthusiasts at the Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10K/5K Run/Walk, which is a great way to celebrate the biggest day in sports. While participating you will be able to enjoy the picturesque sites of Redondo Beach: the Pacific Ocean, the Redondo Beach Historic Pier, the Marina in King Harbor, ocean breezes, fresh air and beautiful Southern California winter weather. Run, walk, or stroll in the Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk, Baby Buggy 10K or new 5K Stroller Walk.
Participants and guests can also enjoy great food, beverages and a variety of running accessories at the 2-day Health & Fitness Expo. Participants will also receive a commemorative limited edition 2024 finisher medal, a long sleeve tee shirt and a sponsored swag bag.
The Health & Fitness Expo & start line is located at 200 Portofino Way, Redondo Beach. The Expo will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. On Sunday, February 11, 2024, the 10K run starts at 7:30 a.m., Baby Buggy 10K run starts at 8:15 a.m., and 5K run starts at 8:30 a.m., and all are priced at $55. Kids 12 & under can do a 1K with a starting time of 7:00 a.m. for the price of $30.00. To participate in the Big Game Challenge (run both the 10K & 5K), the price is $80.00. New this year is the 8:45 a.m. 5K stroller walk for $55.00. Virtual 5K & 10K races will be available again this year for $50.00.
