The Palos Verdes Art Center has a great opportunity for parents who are looking for some fun for their children during spring break.
Spring Art Academy will be taking place at the Studio School from April 1 through April 5, 2024. This spring break program will be engaging youths from 5 -12 years of age. At the camp they will learn to illustrate stories by drawing Mythical Creatures and Characters and develop ceramic sculpture basics with Hand Building Clay techniques. Art coding will be learned while creating 3 D digital sculptures and they will get the opportunity to experience Culinary Art while in the Chef’s Kitchen cooking easy kid friendly recipes.
All materials will be provided. They recommend that you bring two snacks and no lunch. Also they request no nut products please.
The program goes from Monday (4/1) through Friday, (4/5/2024) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost per student is $360.00. Camp t-shirts are available for purchase on the first day of camp at the check-in table. They are $25 each and available in all sizes. To purchase a t-shirt please bring cash or checks payable to Palos verdes Art Center. They are not mandatory, but help preserve and prevent the soiling of your child’s regular clothing.
