Palos Verdes homes owners have a wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy outdoor entertainment on our beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will be presenting “Henry IV” on July 7, 2024, at Hesse Park Upper Field.

Henry IV: Falstaff & The Boy Who Would Be King- This is a new adaptation combining both parts of Henry IV directed and adapted by Stephanie Coltrin. Before St. Crispin’s day, the man who would be Henry V was young Prince Hal who was the reluctant heir to the throne. He spent more time drinking and playing tricks on Fallstaff than he did navigating the intrigues of court. But with England itself at stake, Hal embraces his destiny becoming the king who will lead his country to victory at Agincourt.

The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. and admission is free.  Remember to come early and enjoy your picnic dinner outside while you take in the ocean views.  You are encouraged to bring blankets or low slung beach chairs.  Hesse Park is located at 29301 Hawthorne Boulevard, Rancho Palos Verdes.  There is plenty of free parking available at this site.
