Palos Verdes home owners whose girls are interested in playing softball next spring can register now, and the registration period ends on December 31, 2024.
Palos Verdes Peninsula Girls Softball League is a non-profit recreational softball league that serves girls ages 4 through 14 residing on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and in surrounding communities. They provide a safe, first class recreational softball program to all girls interested in fast pitch softball. Please register as soon as you can so that they can start building teams and organize logistics for the league.
A few notes: All players in 8U and above must attend a mandatory skills assessment which helps them build balanced teams. The Assessment is on Sunday, January 5, 2025, and they will be able to form teams that allow for a great competitive season.
As far as player requests, it really helps them build teams in 6U – so please make sure to note those things in the registration. For 8U and up, being part of a draft makes requests harder to accommodate. You are welcome to note anything in the registration, but it may be challenging to meet.
On January 5, 2025, Assessment Day will take place for girls in 8U & above, at Cornerstone School. Opening Day will be announced soon with a parade celebrating their new team colors. Participation cost for Spring season is $245 for 6U, for 8U – 14U the fee structure is $350 if registered before November 15, from November 16 – December 1 the fee is $375, and from December 1 – December 31, 2024, the fee is $400. Registration closes on December 31, 2024. However, on a case by case basis, they may be able to accommodate some late registrations, but there will be a $50 additional fee associated with registrations after December 31, 2024.

- 8U – Players born between Sept 2015 – Aug 2017
- 10U – Players born between Sept 2013 – Aug 2015
- 12U – Players born between Sept 2011 – Aug 2013
- 14U – Players born between Sept 2009 – Aug 2011
- 16U – Players born between Sept 2007 – Aug 2009
