The Palos Verdes Art Center has a great opportunity for parents who are looking for some fun activities for their children during spring break this year.
Spring Art Academy will be taking place at the Studio School from April 7 through April 11, 2025. This spring break program will be engaging youths from 5 to12 years of age from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This will be an unforgettable week of creativity and exploration. This year’s theme is “Exploring STEM, Clay, Coding and Cuisine!” They will be able to bring stories to life through art exploration with drawing, painting, collage, mixed media and more. They will be getting hands on clay building techniques, and designing 3D digital sculptures and animation basics. There will also be fun, kid friendly recipes to make in the Chef’s Kitchen.
All of the materials will be provided, just bring a nut free lunch and two snacks for the day. Camp t-shirts are available for purchase on the first day of camp at the check-in table. They are $25 each and available in all sizes. To purchase a t-shirt please bring cash or checks payable to Palos verdes Art Center. They are not mandatory, but help preserve and prevent the soiling of your child’s regular clothing.
