Palos Verdes homes owners can join the National Celebration of Parks on Saturday, May 17, 2025, by taking their children to a park. This special Kids To Parks Day is a reminder of the importance that nature and playing in the great outdoors are for our children. To celebrate this special day, our local parks have planned fun activities for families to enjoy. Just bring your beach chairs and a picnic lunch and enjoy the planned activities.
9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – Abalone Cove Park will celebrate with crafts and giveaways
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Ryan Park will have an ElectriKIDS demo
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Point Vicente Interpretive Center will have a find the Whale Scavenger Hunt and a meet & greet with our popular fire grazers
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Hesse Park will celebrate a Field Day with REACH
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Eastview Park will have the YMCA: Family Fitness Activity
2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Ladera Linda Community Park will celebrate with crafts and giveaways
