Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy offers many different opportunities during the month of April 2014 - hiking, bird watching, nocturnal events and more.

AYSO Region 10 registration is now open for the Fall & Summer 2014 seasons. These programs are open for children 4 to 19 years of age. This year AYSO EXTRA is also offering tryouts for both boys & girls starting on April 5, 2014.

There are several opportunities for children to visit the Easter Bunny in Palos Verdes. Beginning Saturday, March 29 through April 19, 2014, they can visit the Peninsula Center to take pictures and enjoy activities with the Easter Bunny. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny takes place on Saturday, April 12, from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. at Ruby's in the Promenade. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will hold its annual Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza from 10-11 a.m. at the Ladera Linda Community Center on April 19, 2014.

Palos Verdes Art Center is hosting "The Circle 2014 Historic Homes Tour" which features three historic Palos Verdes Estates homes on April 11 & 12, 2014. The tour includes lunch at the PV Art Center, boutique & collectibles shopping, and raffle prizes.

On March 15, 2014, What's Up For Kids will have their annual event showcasing children's summer activities available on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and other South Bay locations.

South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes Peninsula will be offering Chen Bin Taiji in the Garden (Tai Chi classes) on Saturdays beginning March 15, 2014.

Spring School Vacation 2014 is approaching and here are some activities children can enjoy. Palos Verdes Art Center is having creative classes for children 5+ and AYSO is offering soccer camps for children 4-16.

Palos Verdes Art Center will be holding its 12th annual Dream House Raffle with a $1,925,000 home and $1,000,000 cash prize. Ticket cost is $150 with proceeds benefiting the Art Center and their community programs.

Enjoy Cherry Blossom Picnic Day at the South Coast Botanic Garden on Saturday, March 5, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the upper and lower meadows.
