Join In The Tide Pool Hike at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. sponsored by the Los Serenos de Point Vicente docents.

Enjoy the fine traditions of the Thanksgiving holiday at the Terranea Resort. beginning Wednesday, November 21, 2012 with a turkey scramble golf game to fine dining on Thursday, November 22, 2012 and "black friday" shopping on Friday, November 23, 2012.

The Neighborhood Church's Yule Parlor Parade & Homes Tour will take place on December 7 & 8, 2012. This Holiday Homes Tour includes a tour of three Peninsula homes and the Haggarty Mansion.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy's Guided Nature Walk at Friendship Park will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

There will be a special Palos Verdes Geology Hike at the George F. Canyon Preserve, on Saturday, November 3, 2012, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Palos Verdes Ocean Trails Hike will begin at Trump National Golf Club on Sunday, October 28, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. Los Serenos docents will walk you down to the beach through the switchback trails while you enjoy all the local fall blooms.

Palos Verdes homes owners can have their household hazardous waste picked up at their homes on October 26, 2012. They must make an appointment by October 24, 2012.

Palos Verdes "Fall Activities" on the Peninsula include the Valmonte Early Learning Center's Fall Festival on October 21, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This includes face painting, train rides, crafts, pumpkin decorating and more. Lunada Bay will be having their "Harvest Fair" on October 28, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with games, rides vendors and more.

Autumn Impressions, a family coastal hike and children's art workshop, will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012, from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. This event will start at Pelican Cove and continue at Terranea Resort.
