During the month of October 2016, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering hikes on Palos Verdes trails - including nocturnal hikes, bird watching, and volunteer opportunities.

Rolling Hills Estates City Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ernie Howlett Park and will include equestrian events, hay wagon rides, petting zoo, live on stage acts, watermelon eating contest, the Annual Poker Ride and mobile food vendors.

The annual South Coast Botanic Garden Fall Orchid Show & Sale will take place on Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18, 2016.

The Palos Verdes Performing Arts Norris Theatre will be presenting the musical comedy "Young Frankenstein" from September 23, through October 9, 2016.

At Terranea Resort on Saturday, October 15, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be hosting "Autumn Impressions", an art workshop which also includes a family coastal hike.

Palos Verdes Estates Bulky Trash and E-Waste pick up is scheduled for a second time this year on September 17, 2016.

Palos Verdes Library District presents RAMS on September 8, 2016 and BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN on October 3, 2016.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be hosting the White Point Home Tour and Reception on September 11, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. featuring seven San Pedro unique homes with a focus on art, architecture and landscaping.

The Palos Verdes Art Center has opened their fall registration for adult & children's classes that start the week of September 12, 2016.
