Shakespeare by the Sea will be presenting "King John" at Terannea Resort on July 11, 2013, and "All's Well That Ends Well" at Fred Hess Park on August 4, 2013.

Summer Children's Camps for Palos Verdes children include the Palos Verdes Surf Camp, Palos Verdes Art Center, Palos Verdes Rugby, Peninsula Sports Camp, Palos Verdes Stables Pony Camp and Peninsula Bay Cities Day Camp & Swim School.

The Malaga Cove Summer Concert Season will begin on July 10, 2013, and continue each Wednesday until August 28, 2013. Concerts start at 7:00 p.m.

2013 Palos Verdes Fourth of July celebrations will be held in Palos Verdes Estates at Malaga Cove School beginning at 9:30 a.m., and in Rancho Palos Verdes at the Point Vincente Park/Civic Center at 10:00 a.m.

Los Serenos de Point Vincente is offering an Oceanfront Hike and tour of the Point Vicente Lighthouse and Museum on Saturday, June 22, 2013, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Palos Verdes beaches have once again received a grade of A & A+ by Heal the Bay and are on their 2012-2013 top list honors. Heal the Bay has been working since 1990 to make sure that beach goers are aware of the beaches that in their areas that may have pollution.

The 26th annual Palos Verdes Street Fair & Music Festival will be held on June 8 (from 10 am - 10 pm) and June 9 (from 10 am - 9 pm) at Crossfield Road between Silver Spur Road & Indian Peak Road in Rolling Hills Estates.

National Trails Day will be held in Palos Verdes at Del Cerro Park in Rancho Palos Verdes on Saturday, June 1, 2013, from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m.. The fun will includes hikes, guided nature walks, raffle prizes and other activities.

Palos Verdes Beach and Athletic Club is offering youth swim lessons to both members and non-members during Summer 2013.

Palos Verdes horseback riding opportunities for trail rides, horse/pony camps and private or group lessons at 5 different locations on the Palos Verdes Peninsula including Palos Verdes Stables, Wagon Wheel Ranch Trail Rides, Portuguese Bend Riding Club, Seahorse Riding Club and Peter Weber Equestrian Center.
