Children’s Events

Palos Verdes T-Ball and Farm Baseball registration continues until January 31, 2013 for children between the ages of 4 and 8 years of age. Games are on Sundays and there is one practice during the week.

Palos Verdes Homes owners are fortunate to have their normal trash services pick up their discarded trees; schedule for 2012 attached.

The Tall Ships will be coming to San Pedro for a reproduction of an 18th century ship to ship battle. Tickets are available to join the crew and be a part of the excitement on December 26 and 29, 2012. Walk-on tours are also available December 21 to January 1, 2013.

Santa is coming to Palos Verdes at several different locations incluiding Breakfast with Santa and Visit with Santa. The Norris Theatre will be presenting "White Christmas" and the Palos Verdes Ballet's "Nutcracker".

3 Palos Verdes volunteer opportunities to assist in the preservation and maintenance of White Point Nature Preserve, Portuguese Bend Reserve and Native Plant Nursery.

Palos Verdes AYSO Region 10 Winter Soccer registration deadline is December 6, 2012. There will be eight games beginning in January through the end of February for U6-U12 players.

South Bay Holiday Events 2012, with dates and times for Torrance Memorial Holiday Festival, Victorian Christmas at Banning Museum and Riviera Village Holiday Stroll.

Palos Verdes Holiday Celebrations 2012 with dates and times for Tree Lighting Ceremonies, Nutcracker Ballets, Peninsula Holiday Parade, PV Symphony Band Holiday Concert, Carolers and Santa visit times.

Join In The Tide Pool Hike at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. sponsored by the Los Serenos de Point Vicente docents.

Palos Verdes "Fall Activities" on the Peninsula include the Valmonte Early Learning Center's Fall Festival on October 21, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This includes face painting, train rides, crafts, pumpkin decorating and more. Lunada Bay will be having their "Harvest Fair" on October 28, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with games, rides vendors and more.
