Things To Do In Palos Verdes

The 2012 Palos Verdes Peninsula Music Fair will be held on October 7 (from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) at Chadwick School, located at 26800 Academy Drive, Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Locally, White Point Nature Preserve will be celebrating National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 29, 2012, from 9:00 a..m. to 12:00 noon giving us an opportunity to volunteer to help beautify the Demonstration Garden and surrounding habitat areas.

The Palos Verdes Neighborhood Safety & Emergency Preparedness Fair will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on the lawn in front of the Palos Verdes Estates City Hall and will include speakers, Build Your Own Emergency Bag and other great programs sharing information.

The 55th Annual Rolling Hills Estates City Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Empty Saddle Club and will include equestrian events, hay wagon rides, petting zoo, watermelon eating contest, the Annual Poker Ride, a barbecue lunch and more.

Palos Verdes beach clean up is on September 15, 2012, as part of Heal the Bay Coastal Clean-Up Day. Also, help monitor the Japan tsunami debris landing at Malaga Cove during the next few months.

Ocean Trails Reserve Nature Hike will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. near Trump National Golf Club. This hike is hosted by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy.

Portuguese Bend National Horse Show will be held on Friday, September 7, through Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Ernie Howlett Park in Rolling Hills Estates. There will be special equestrian events as well as an old fashioned hometown fair complete with food booths, pony rides, games, etc.

Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Trump National Golf Club. This year's featured marque is Delahaye which made some of the most elegant and luxurious French cars. There will also be Bugatti, Chapron, Pourtout, Figoni et Falaschi, Franay, Delages, Hispano-Suiza cars as well as others.

Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance Pleasure Road Rallye will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 12:00 noon beginning at the Rolling Hills Country Club and finishing at the Palos Verdes Golf Club with many stops in between.

South Coast Botanic Garden, located in Palos Verdes Peninsula, offers many wonderful activities for us to enjoy - September will bring Tai Chi In The Garden, PV Symphonic Band Labor Day Concert, Bird Lecture Series and many more opportunities.
