Chandler Preserve Nature Walk will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. hosted by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy. This is an easy to moderate walk and should include viewings of the Palos Verdes blue butterfly and golden star lilies.
Free public hike in Palos Verdes at Forrestal Nature Reserve on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. will be led by the docents of Los Serenos de Point Vicente.
Palos Verdes tide pool walk will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park in Rancho Palos Verdes 90275. Parking will be free from 11:45 to 3:00.
Palos Verdes Hikes and Trails this Saturday, February 11, 2012, include the White Point Nature Hike and the Cabrillo Beach Nature Walk. Sunday, February 12, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium will be hosting a new Salt Marsh open house where children may use binoculars (and microscopes) to view the animal and bird life.
There will be 2 nature walks this Saturday, February 4th at George F Canyon Preserve & Nature Center in Rolling Hills Estates. The Bird Walk will take place from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and the First Saturday Walk through the canyon will take place from 1:00 to 3:00.
Rancho Palos Verdes Oceanfront Estates Walk and Point Vicente Lighthouse tour will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011. The walk begins at 9:00 meeting at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center parking lot. Lighthouse tours will be given from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be holding a workshop to restore the Portuguese Bend Reserve on November 19, 2011 from 9:00 to noon. The public is encouraged to attend and assist.
The Frascati Canyon walk led by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Palos Verdes hike, actually an interpretive walk, called The Tongva Walk will be held at the White Point Nature Education Center on August 14 and September 11, 2011.
