The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will join Los Serenos de Point Vicente to host Coastal Cleanup Day in Palos Verdes on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park.

Palos Verdes Peninsula 4-H Club will have sign ups on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the Rolling Hills Estates City Hall.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy offers many different opportunities during the month of September 2015, for volunteering, hiking, bird watching, nocturnal events and more.

Palos Verdes Junior Ranger Program is being offered to children 7 to 12 years of age. The Program's orientation will be held on September 5th & September 12th, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 12:00 noon. There will be six sessions which will culminate with a graduation ceremony.

The 58th Annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show will be held at Ernie Howlett Park on Friday, September 4, through Sunday, September 6, 2015. In addition to horse competitions, this event features an old fashioned hometown fair with petting zoos, pony rides, moon bounces and more.

Palos Verdes residents have an opportunity to tour three ships scheduled to visit the Port of Los Angeles for the Navy Days celebration August 7 - 9, 2015.

Palos Verdes Estates' residents are encouraged to join their area Neighborhood Watch Association in celebrating National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

At Terranea Resort on Saturday, August 15, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be hosting at "Summer Impressions", an art workshop which also includes a family coastal hike.
