Children’s Events

Palos Verdes children's summer camps for 2012 are offered through Peninsula Sports Camps, PV Rugby Summer Camp, Peninsula Bay Cities Day Camp and Swim School and Palos Verdes Art Center.

National Trails Day will be held at Del Cerro Park in Rancho Palos Verdes on June 2, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to noon and will include hikes, guided nature walks, raffle prizes, treasure hunt and other activities.

Palos Verdes horseback riding opportunities for trail rides, horse/pony camps and private or group lessons at 5 different locations on the Palos Verdes Peninsula including Palos Verdes Stables, Wagon Wheel Ranch Trail Rides, Portuguese Bend Riding Club, Seahorse Riding Club and Peter Weber Equestrian Center.

Palos Verdes Horse Happenings On The Hill will take place at Ernie Howlett Park on Sunday, June 10, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can enjoy beautiful horses, trail rides, competitive riding, demonstrations, and a tack sale.

Palos Verdes children's summer camps at Terranea Resort are also available for non-resort guests (for a fee) while you dine or relax in the Spa (afternoon drop-in camps). Week long full day camps are also available.

The 2012 Palos Verdes Street Fair & Music Festival will be held on June 9 (from 10 am-10 pm) and June 10 (from 10 am - 9 pm) at Crossfield Road between Silver Spur Road and Indian Peak Road in Rolling Hills Estates 90274.

Palos Verdes AYSO soccer sign ups, for both the summer and fall season, will be held on May 5, 2012, at Hesse Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Palos Verdes Easter Brunch will be offered at Terranea Resort on April 8, 2012 at 10:00, 10:30, 1:00 & 1:30. Wonderland Egg Hunt will be held at noon and 3:00 p.m. for brunch and hotel guests.

Palos Verdes 2012 Summer School Registration begins online for high school on March 20,2012 and March 29th for elementary schools and April 9th for intermediate schools.

Palos Verdes Easter Egg Hunt (Eggstravaganza) will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Ladera Linda Community Center in Rancho Palos Verdes. Reservations are required.
