Join Skechers Friendship Walk on October 26, 2014, to help raise money for Peninsula Education Foundation which benefits our local Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District.

South Coast Botanic Garden is offering families several activities during the month of October - from Family Picnic Day to Sculpting on Tile Workshop, to the 22nd Annual Model Train Show.

On Saturday, October 18, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be hosting at Terranea Resort, Autumn Impressions, an art workshop which also includes a family coastal hike.

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Artist Studios Tour will take place on September 27 & 28, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Palos Verdes Art Center.

Palos Verdes Seniors will be offered a Medicare Information Program on October 4, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at the Peninsula Center Library Community Room and PVE-CARES Senior Health Fair will be presented on Friday, October 24, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Neighborhood Church in Palos Verdes Estates.

The City of Palos Verdes Estates will be celebrating their 75th Anniversary by opening the doors of their Stables, Beach, Tennis Golf Clubs on September 27 & 28, 2014, to residents and property owners.

On Saturday, September 27, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Palos Verdes Library District presents One Book One Peninsula, featuring "The Nature Principle" by Richard Louv.

The Beauty of Nature will be featuring Rivers and Tides, More Than Honey and Kon-Tiki to conclude this years film series sponsored by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy.

The Palos Verdes Library District now offers CoderDojo (computer coding classes) and Flipster (free magazines for ipads) to it's members through the Peninsula Center Library.

The County of Los Angeles is offering a Smart Gardening Workshop at South Coast Botanic Garden on June 21, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Backyard compost and worm bins can be purchased here.
