Just a reminder for Palos Verdes homes owners that Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 2:00 a.m.

The Costume Closet has extended its hours in October to get ready for Halloween. They now have over 8,000 costumes to rent in addition to an accessory and shoe department to complete your look.

The City of Palos Verdes Estates will be celebrating it's "Heritage Days" during the month of October with a series of evening presentations on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the Malaga Cove Library Gallery.

On Sunday, September 14, 2014, the Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance will be held at the Trump National Golf Course from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On Saturday, September 13, 2014, the Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance will hold their Pleasure Road Rallye beginning at 12:00 noon at the Rolling Hills Country Club and finishing at the Palos Verdes Golf Club with many stops in between.

Palos Verdes Peninsula residents can experience the Tall Ships Festival on August 20, through August 24, 2014, which includes a boat parade and nautical themed daily entertainment at the San Pedro waterfront.

On Saturday, August 30, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be hosting Summer Impressions, an art workshop which also includes a family coastal hike.
