The Neighborhood Church will be presenting their summer concerts on June 23, July 21 and August 18, 2013. Come bring a picnic at 6 p.m. and enjoy the seaside terrace and stay for the free concert starting at 7 p.m.

Palos Verdes beaches have once again received a grade of A & A+ by Heal the Bay and are on their 2012-2013 top list honors. Heal the Bay has been working since 1990 to make sure that beach goers are aware of the beaches that in their areas that may have pollution.

On June 8, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 noon., the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be sponsoring a walk at the Three Sisters Reserve. This strenuous hike will allow you to see all of the work done during the last four years to restore this area.

The 26th annual Palos Verdes Street Fair & Music Festival will be held on June 8 (from 10 am - 10 pm) and June 9 (from 10 am - 9 pm) at Crossfield Road between Silver Spur Road & Indian Peak Road in Rolling Hills Estates.

The Palos Verdes Art Center invites the community to the Malaga Cove Art Show which will be held this weekend, May 18 & 19, 2013, from 10-5 p.m., at the Malaga Cove Plaza.

National Trails Day will be held in Palos Verdes at Del Cerro Park in Rancho Palos Verdes on Saturday, June 1, 2013, from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m.. The fun will includes hikes, guided nature walks, raffle prizes and other activities.

Pet licenses, dog and cat vaccinations and microchips will be offered at a Pet Clinic at Hesse Park in Rancho Palos Verdes on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Palos Verdes Beach and Athletic Club is offering youth swim lessons to both members and non-members during Summer 2013.

Palos Verdes horseback riding opportunities for trail rides, horse/pony camps and private or group lessons at 5 different locations on the Palos Verdes Peninsula including Palos Verdes Stables, Wagon Wheel Ranch Trail Rides, Portuguese Bend Riding Club, Seahorse Riding Club and Peter Weber Equestrian Center.

"A Day In The Garden" formerly called "A Walk On The Wild Side" is Friday May 18, 2013, at the South Coast Botanic Garden. This is a fundraiser sponsored by Las Candelistas to benefit local charities.
