Palos Verde schools will benefit from the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk this Sunday, October 30, 2011, if you designate the Peninsula Education Foundation as your charity of choice.

99 Palos Verdes Peninsula Seniors will be attending Marymount College in the Spring 2012, tuition free.

Palos Verdes Senior Health Fair will be held on October 21, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Neighborhood Church in Palos Verdes Estates and will offer free flu shots, lunch, old prescription medication disposal and free shredding/disposal of documents.

Halloween Spooktacular will be held on October 22, 2011 at the Rancho Palos Verdes City Hall and the Sunrise Fall Festival will be held on October 23, 2011 at Valmonte School in Palos Verdes Estates.

Boomer McLennan & The Rhythm Rangers will be performing at the Norris Pavilion in Rolling Hills Estates on Friday, October 12, 2011, at 6:00. The evening will begin with a Texas style barbecue dinner.

The Norris Center For The Performing Arts will be presenting Guys & Dolls September 23 through October 9, 2011.

South Coast Botanic Garden's Annual Fall Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will offer exotic an unusual plants grown at the Garden.

Palos Verdes Library presents a Food Career Speaker Panel for Teens (and their parents) considering a career in this industry; event will be held on October 11, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. at the Peninsula Center Library.

Sunday By The Sea will be held on September 25, 2011 between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. to benefit Providence TrinityCare Hospice.
