Palos Verdes Peninsula Friends of the Library's annual fundraising event for 2011 is "Around The World In An Evening" to be held on March 12 at 6:00 p.m. at the Peninsula Center Llibrary.

Whale Of A Day will be held March 5, 2011, from 10 to 4 at Point Vicente Interpretive Center, Rancho Palos Verdes 90275 and will include whale watching from the shore, museum tours, Point Vicente Lighthouse tours, exhibits, arts and crafts and more.
