Palos Verdes Library District's children summer reading program, "Read For The Win," is available online June 6, 2016.

The Palos Verdes Neighborhood Church will present their free Summer Sunday Sounds concerts on June 26, July 17 and August 21, 2016.

Palos Verdes Bowl is once again offering free bowling for children during the summer starting on June 1, 2016. You must register ahead at www.kidsbowlfree.com/PalosVerdes for this fun family activity.

The 29th Annual Palos Verdes Street Fair & Music Festival will be held on June 11, 2016, (from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) and June 12th (from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.) at Crossfield Road between Silver Spur Road & Indian Peak Road in Rolling Hills Estates.

Local Palos Verdes area summer camps 2016 for children include the Palos Verdes Surf Camp, Palos Verdes Art Center, Peninsula Sports Camp, Palos Verdes Stables Pony Camp, Palos Verdes Performing Arts Education, and Peninsula Bay Cities Day Camp & Swim School.

Children's birthday parties in Palos Verdes can be held the George F. Canyon Nature Center for a fee of $495 for up to 15 children ($12 per additional child) and includes a private indoor animal tour, outdoor art studio project, naturalist guided walk and additional fun art stations.

Palos Verdes Antiques Show & Sale will be held on June 2 - 4, 2016, at St Francis Episcopal Church in Palos Verdes Estates.

Palos Verdes Art Center is offering their Art-Rageous Summer Camp & Individual Classes for children 5 & up to enjoy!

Peninsula Seniors lecture series for the month of May 2016 will meet Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Hesse Park in the Fireside Room and includes presentations by Dr. Lew Holzman, Rory Cunningham, Gene Dotson, Natalie Meyer & Beverly Fridley. This month Coffee & Cars will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at the Peninsula Center.
