Whale watching off the Palos Verdes coast is in full gear with 559 whales spotted to date this season. Point Vicente Interpretive Center is an excellent spot to view the whales from the land and two local companies have boat excursions for closer look.
There will be 2 nature walks this Saturday, February 4th at George F Canyon Preserve & Nature Center in Rolling Hills Estates. The Bird Walk will take place from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and the First Saturday Walk through the canyon will take place from 1:00 to 3:00.
