The White Point Nature Preserve will be having their “Fall Into White Point Home Tour & Celebration” fundraiser on Sunday, September 25, 2011, at the Preserve. Palos Verdes homes owners will be able to join this self-guided tour from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. It consists of six eclectic San Pedro homes which have different artistic, architectural or historic significance to the community. There will also be a special tour of the Point Fermin Lighthouse and a clean-fuel Historic Red Trolley shuttle ride on the tour route.
For the early birds once you have purchased your tickets, you can go on a special preview tour of a Terranea Oceanfront Golf Casitas between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. There will be someone at Terranea Resort to direct you to the special tour area.
After the house tour a cocktail reception will follow at the Preserve from 4:30-7:00 p.m. with live music, and a silent auction featuring unique jewelry, art and vacation homes. All proceeds benefit White Point Nature Preserve site improvements and habitat restoration by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy.
