Palos Verdes Harvest Fair & Oktoberfest Coming Soon!
October has arrived and with it brings the Palos Verdes Harvest Festival which will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Lunada Bay Plaza and Park. This family fun event is sponsored by the Lunada Bay Homeowners Association and is a great time for Palos Verdes homes owners to enjoy an afternoon outing with their family and even their pooch. This year’s big event, the Pumpkin Races, is returning and the pumpkin race kits are availale for purchase for $20 each at Lunada Bay Hardware located at 2216 Via Anacapa, Palos Verdes Estates. After picking up your hardware kit, register on the www.lbhoa.org website with your Team Name under RSVP Pumpking Race. On Sunday, October 25, 2015, arrive at 1:45 p.m. to check in and get your race time slot. The race will have several heats and a final runoff. There will also be a pre-race pit area to make final adjustments to your cars.
There will also be a Halloween costume Dog Parade, face painting, live entertainment and much more for the children to enjoy. At 4:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m., you can enjoy Oktoberfest complete with a German Oompah Band, German sausages and German craft brews. Remember to bring your own chairs, blankets, coolers and picnic goodies. The beer and sausages will be available for purchase after 4:00 p.m.
