Malaga Cove Library Offers Passport Services!
On August 1, 2016, Malaga Cove Library started offering passport services for Palos Verdes homes owners. This is great resource for residents who aren’t interested in fighting the lines at the local post offices (especially with their limited hours). The passport service also adds revenue for our libraries. The Malaga Cove Library passport hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Reservations are required and you can make them online at www.pvld.org/services/passport.
The Malaga Cove Library was constructed in 1930 and in 1995 was placed on the National Historic Register. The interior still has the original furniture style with Spanish claw foot leather couches and old rustic tables. The multi level space also has an art gallery in the basement which has specialized art shows, and monthly book sales. There are special children’s readers that visit the library to entertain with fun activities. In walking through the library, you will see art by local artists displayed on the walls.
Currently, the Peninsula Center Library offers passport services on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Miraleste Library offers services Monday through Friday from 12:00 noon to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Malaga Cove Library is located at 2400 Via Campensina, Palos Verdes Estates.
