Palos Verdes homeowners have great presentations in the November 2025 Peninsula Seniors Bohannon Lectures Series. These Lectures take place at Scriba Family Center located at 602 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates, with in-person lectures beginning at 10:30 a.m. on the following Wednesdays:
November 5 – “Wayfarers Chapel Update” will be presented by Rev. Dr. David Brown who will discuss the future plans for the new home of the Wayfarers Chapel at the former Battery Barnes military site in Rancho Palos Verdes.
November 12 – “Smart Giving That Matters” will be presented by Sachin Maheshwari with EP Wealth Advisors. He will be discussing tax smart charitable giving strategies to align your giving with personal and family goals and help shape a legacy of generosity.
November 19 – “The Treasure of Terranea” will be presented by Nick Untermann the general manager of the Terranea Resort. He will preview the resort’s holiday season schedule of activities for hotel guests and the local community.
November 26 – No Lecture
On Saturday, November 1, 2025, Coffee & Cars will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on the top parking deck of the Promenade Mall. On the first Saturday of every month, a group of car enthusiasts bring their Hot Rod, Custom, Muscle Car, Sports Car, Antique, and other special interest vehicles to this location where you can admire the cars, meet the owners and ask them questions. To reach the top parking deck, enter from Indian Peak Road at the Peninsula Shopping Center off Silver Spur Road and Hawthorne Boulevard in Rolling Hills Estates.
